  • Mission Support: Serve as a full-time firefighter in a temporary capacity, covering for deployed personnel to ensure uninterrupted department operations

  • Emergency Response: Respond to a wide range of incidents including structural fires, aircraft emergencies, hazardous materials, and medical calls

  • Training: Participate in regular training exercises and emergency drills to maintain peak readiness

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow firefighters and leadership to maintain safety standards

Senior Airman, Firefighter 2021 – Present

  • Military Training & Certifications: Completed six months of intensive training to earn the Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) in firefighting; Achieved Certifications in Firefighter I & II, Airport Firefighter, CPR, Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), and Hazardous Materials Responder – Awareness/Operations Level

  • Structural Firefighting: Trained to control and extinguish fires in using specialized equipment

  • Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT): Identified, contained, and decontaminated hazardous chemical materials
